The origin of VANN
In 2020, Thijs founded VANN, inspired by a trip to Costa Rica. On a beach full of plastic bottles, he saw an impressive initiative: a whale, built by locals from collected waste — as a symbol of awareness.
That image never left him and formed the basis for VANN: a brand that fights against disposable plastic and enables conscious choices.

Is the food pot made of 100% stainless steel?
No, the food pot isn't made entirely of stainless steel. Some parts, including the inside of the lid, are made of uncoated, food-safe PP material with a silicone seal and valve.
Can the VANN Foodpot go in the dishwasher?
Cleaning advice:
We therefore recommend always washing the food container by hand. This extends its lifespan and prevents damage. In practice, it's best to rinse the container immediately after use and clean it thoroughly regularly.
Thorough cleaning
Fill the bottle with a mixture of hot water and baking soda. Let it sit overnight and rinse the bottle several times the next day. This way, the inside will be as good as new!
What is the delivery time and from where do you ship my order?
We ship your order from our modern warehouse in the Netherlands.
Delivery time:
Netherlands: Before 23:00 = delivered tomorrow
Belgium: Before 9pm = delivered tomorrow
Germany: 1-2 days
If you order during the weekend, your order will be delivered on Monday.
What are the shipping costs?
Order for at least €50 and enjoy free shipping.
For orders under €50, a shipping fee of €5.95 applies for the Netherlands and €6.35 for Belgium.
